To give distributor sales representatives more efficiency and visibility to improve customer relationships, we’ve made some changes to their ecommerce experience.

 

We will be replacing the Dot Expressway with a new and improved website. Most of the Expressway functionality will be carried over to the new site, but we wanted to give you a head’s up on some of the changes and exciting benefits you can expect. We also have information to help DSRs and buyers understand the order approval process.

DSRs will have access to our full product catalog, product details, product images, stock statuses, and pricing.
DSRs will have full access to all products and information on the new site. These settings can’t be changed.
 
We believe that this enhanced visibility will improve DSR efficiency. If you have questions about these changes, please contact us today. We can answer your questions and arrange a private training session for you and your DSRs.
Yes. DSRs will see estimated operator delivered pricing for all products. If you have custom markups set up on the Expressway, they will be carried over and visible to your DSRs.
 
If you have questions about which price your DSRs are currently seeing on the Expressway or what markups we currently have set up for your account, contact us now.
DSRs will have the ability to add products to their cart, but orders must be approved or rejected by their purchasing team. If your DSRs currently have the ability to order products on the Expressway without approval, they will continue to have this ability on our new site.

If your DSRs weren’t able to order on the Expressway, your purchasing team will automatically be set up to approve or deny DSR orders on our new site. If you have questions about who we currently have set up as a purchaser from your company, please contact us now.
Purchasing teams will receive an email whenever a DSR submits an order for approval. Once a buyer approves or denies the order, the DSR will receive a notification via email.
 
Buyers can also check the Order Approvals page of DotFoods.com/Shop to review DSR orders.
Buyers are able to change PO numbers, delete products, change product quantities, adjust delivery dates, and make additional edits to orders before approving them. They can’t add products to the orders. 
We automatically set up our system to give all buyers at your company the ability to approve and reject DSR orders. All buyers will receive emails when a DSR submits an order for approval and when an order has been rejected. 
 
If you only want specific buyers to have the ability to approve orders, contact your Dot customer service representative.
Users can select Dot truck or customer pickup as their fulfillment option. Drop ship will be available soon.
The Expressway will be leaving soon and replaced by our new website. We don’t know the exact date that it will no longer be available to DSRs, but we will alert you prior to its shutdown.
Anybody who uses the Expressway will be invited to activate their accounts for DotFoods.com/Shop.
