Dot Foods is excited to welcome back customers, suppliers, and national account operators to Innovations 2021 on July 21–23 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Since 1998, Dot has consistently held an annual trade show where its business partners can learn about new food industry trends, sit in on educational seminars, and enjoy nightly entertainment. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dot had to cancel its 2020 show, which was slated for April 15-17.
“We were disappointed that we weren’t able to meet up with everyone for the 2020 show, but the health and safety of our partners and employees will always be our first priority,” said Charlsie Pinkerton, Dot trade show manager.
Pinkerton said Innovations 2021 will look a little bit different next year, but Dot is committed to an in-person show. To uphold their commitment to protecting attendees, Dot will make changes necessary to ensure their safety and comply with CDC guidelines.
“Based on our plans, we are very optimistic that we can successfully execute a safe and valuable show for everyone who attends,” she said.
Pinkerton, her team, and Dot’s senior leaders are also working through all show elements at this time, including format, entertainment, and virtual components.
As with previous years, national account operators and exhibitors will arrive in St. Louis on Wednesday, July 21 for pre-event activities and to give exhibitors time to set up their booths for the show. Dot’s customers will join on July 22, and the trade show floor will open on July 23 at America’s Center.
Attendees of the invite-only show can expect to safely network with Dot customers, exhibitors, national account operators, and Dot Foods employees. All products seen on the trade show floor can be sourced through Dot.
