In honor of Earth Day, Dot Foods is offering free electronic and metal recycling to all Brown County residents and Dot Foods and Dot Transportation employees. Accepted items include computers, printers, televisions and accessories, copy machines, radios, telephones and any metal items, such as appliances and air conditioners. Refrigerant does not need to be removed.
Brown County residents may drop off their items to maintenance building located at Dot's West facility on Buckhorn Road in Mt. Sterling. Drop off times are Thursday, April 19 and Friday April 20 from 8:00 until 11:00 am and 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Dot employees will be on hand to assist in unloading large items.
Dot Foods will be celebrating Earth Day this year with a recycling drive, neighborhood cleanup and a Green Fair for their employees.
