The Alzheimer’s Association has a special place in our hearts at Dot Foods.
Ever since our co-founder Robert (RT) Tracy lost his battle to Alzheimer’s, our company has been a major supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Through the generosity of our employees, we’ve raised $1.4 million for the organization, making us the top company in per capita fundraising.
Last year, more than 900 employees contributed to the campaign. With Dot’s dollar-for-dollar match, we raised nearly $232,000, a 13 percent increase from 2021.
This year’s fundraising campaign is currently underway. Dot employees can check their emails, the Dot App, or contact their HR manager to learn how to donate and participate in any upcoming educational or volunteer events at their locations. If you don’t work at Dot, you can still pitch in by donating to our team page.
Thank you to our employees for their ongoing support of this important cause and to our local Alzheimer’s Association chapters for their tireless efforts to find a cure and support people impacted by this disease. In addition to kicking off our fundraising campaign, we participated in several other charitable activities this past month.
