Dot has been committed to supporting our communities long before the coronavirus. As we continue to donate food and host blood drives, we’re also resuming some of our usual charity activities.
Mt. Sterling Blood Drive
Dot Foods Mt. Sterling is hosting its second blood drive on July 17. At our previous event, 22 employees donated blood, three of them for the first time. Thanks to our employees for their generosity, and we hope to see some new faces this time around. Appointments are mandatory, so schedule yours here.
In the past few weeks, Dot Food Maryland donated over 12,000 pounds of food to local churches that have been distributing food to residents in need. It also contributed food to the Frederick Rescue Mission for its food distribution services.
Backpack Drive
FUEL Ardmore is dedicated to providing networking and volunteer opportunities for young residents of southern Oklahoma. Dot Foods Oklahoma is sponsoring their upcoming Stuff the Backpack drive to provide school supplies to local students.
Humane Society
The Schuyler County Humane Society is donating dog food to families in need. Dot Foods Mt. Sterling contributed dog food to support their work and help the furry friends in our area.
Terry Anastas Ultimate Ride
Friends of the Trails is a nonprofit that promotes and supports the bike and walking trails in the Quincy, Illinois area. Dot sponsored a bike ride they recently held in memory of one of their founding members, Terry Anastas.
