The time and generosity of our employees made 2021 a successful year for our charitable work. Dot Foods is gearing up for another great year for our philanthropy.
Across our locations, employees have already started giving back to our communities. Before digging into our recent charitable activities, let’s look at how we ended two of our major initiatives for 2021.
2021 Alzheimer’s Association & United Way Campaigns
Every year, Dot Foods organizes companywide fundraising campaigns for local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association and United Way. Dot matches all employee donations made through these campaigns. Thanks to our employees, our 2021 contributions far surpassed 2020, allowing us to make a big impact in our communities.
Nearly 1,000 employees donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. With the Dot match, contributions totaled $206,090. For our United Way campaign, about 1,000 employees showed their support. In total, $330,387 was donated to the United Way.
Several locations saw impressive growth in their fundraising campaigns. Alzheimer’s Association contributions from Dot Foods Chicago increased by an astounding 542 percent. Almost all locations grew their United Way contributions, with Dot Foods Tennessee seeing a 260 percent increase over 2020.
We’re grateful for such generous employees and look forward to successful fundraising campaigns this year.
