‘Tis the season for giving. Across our Dot Foods locations, we’ve made donations to spread holiday cheer to people in need.
In addition to sharing our recent charitable activities, we want to thank all our employees and partnering nonprofits for their amazing generosity. We look forward to continuing to care for our communities in 2023.
Dot Foods Mt. Sterling donated more than 10,000 pounds of product to a drive-up food giveaway hosted by Central Illinois Foodbank and Cass County Health Department. A few employees also volunteered.
Several of our locations collected presents to make sure kids had gifts to open this holiday season:
Dot Foods Arizona partnered with Mohave County Firefighters Holiday Toy Drive to donate unwrapped gifts to underprivileged children.
Dot Foods Delaware collected unwrapped new toys for Toys for Tots. The toys will go to kids of parents who are incarcerated.
Dot Foods Oklahoma participated in the Angel Tree project, shopping for 30 local children to help make their holiday wishes come true.
Our Mt. Sterling distribution center hosted a night at the Festival of Lights, a drive-through light show in Quincy, Illinois. We paid for the first 200 cars on December 15.
Dot Foods Dyersburg and Dot Foods Oklahoma also got in the Christmas spirit, sponsoring the Dyersburg Christmas Parade and Depot Nights & Christmas Lights, respectively.
Santa came over to Dot Supplier Marketing Manager Stephanie Weiler's house for a special event held by the Dot Foods St. Louis charitable committee to raise supplies and money for the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.
Dot Foods Idaho helped children stay warm this winter by donating coats to a local daycare.
A group of employees from our Bear distribution center helped serve at the annual Thanksgiving of Hope meal at the NCC Hope Center, a local homeless shelter.
Our Bullhead City distribution center helped clean up the Parkway area.
