Thanks to the generosity of our employees and the hard work of local nonprofits, Dot Foods has helped make a difference in our communities this past year.
We look forward to continuing our philanthropic projects in 2022. To wrap up a great year of giving, we participated in several charitable activities during the holiday season.

To provide food and nourishment for low-income families during the holidays, Dot Foods Mt. Sterling donated $16,000 in cash and items as well as the use of one of our refrigerated trailers to the Brown County Christmas Food Basket.

Dot Foods Delaware provided gifts and toys to 372 children as part of the 2021 Prison Fellowship Angel Tree program. Families received the gifts and nonperishable food in time for Christmas.

Dot Foods Indiana is proud to support the Golay Community Center with a donation of $5,500. They also pitched in $1,500 to Whitewater Valley Marine Corps League Toys for Tots at an annual charity event.

Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) gave out over 70 coats to children in need in Marshfield, Missouri as part of their work with Coats for Kids. More than 500 coats have been distributed to area kids through the program.

Dot Foods Chicago presented Nehemiah House with $3,000 to help families receive socks, coats, and other essential clothing items. They also purchased $1,000 worth of gifts for 20 children who participated in the Christmas celebrations at Alicia’s House.

Dot Foods St. Louis donated over 100 items to Feed My People’s Tree of Giving. At a recent meeting, they also wrote cards to people serving in the military and first responders for Operation Gratitude.

Senior Director of Replenishment Angie Wettstein stepped down from leading the Dot Foods Mt. Sterling Charitable Committee for five years. To thank her for her work, the committee made a $1,000 donation to Action Brown County in her honor.

To thank our warehouse employees at the Mt. Sterling distribution center for their hard work, we held a raffle each period. Last period, part of the grand prize was a $100 donation in the employee’s name to the charity of their choice. Here are the winners and the organizations they selected:
