A month doesn’t go by without at least a few donations or charitable activities from Dot Foods, but this month has been especially busy.
As part of our groundbreaking celebration at the site of our future distribution center in Manchester, Tennessee, we gave $170,000 in food and financial donations to several organizations around the area.
We’ll share more about our philanthropy in Manchester in an upcoming article, but we have plenty of recent charitable activities to cover from our other locations.

Dot Foods Oklahoma gave $39,000 worth of food to Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma to help address food insecurity in the region.

Dot Foods Mt. Sterling donated $20,000 to Bailey Park for new playground equipment.

Our Mt. Sterling distribution center also gave the Jacksonville Food Center over $11,000 to support their food pantry.

Dot Foods Tennessee raised $15,000 at their annual trivia night to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Our Tennessee distribution center also gave $5,000 to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund.

Dot Foods Dyersburg helped raise 476 pounds of supplies for local school districts through their back-to-school drive.

Dot Foods Delaware helped local children this month with a $5,000 donation to the Bear-Glasgow Family YMCA. They also supported a back-to-school bash that distributed 400 book bags filled with school supplies.

Dot Foods Georgia provided $5,000 to sponsor The Real Squeal, a local BBQ festival.

Dot Foods Indiana spread nearly $5,000 across several local programs and events, including $1,000 to Hagerstown Little League and Cambridge City Canal Days.

Dot Foods New York donated $2,500 to New York State Children’s Alliance and another $2,000 to the Central New York chapter of the Autism Society.

Dot Foods Chicago presented $2,500 to the Stanislaus County Police Activities League.
