Since 2015, Dot Foods has raised $1.2 million for the Alzheimer’s Association. What’s next for us in our support of this organization? Another million dollars to work towards providing better care, treatment, and ultimately a cure.
For Dot, Alzheimer’s is personal. Co-founder Robert Tracy (RT) lost his battle with the disease in 2006. Our generous employees pay tribute to him and those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia in their own lives through donating to our annual fundraising campaign.
This year’s campaign runs from May 1 through June 30. Dot matches donations from employees across our locations dollar for dollar. Last year, nearly 1,000 employees participated. With the Dot match, 2021 campaign donations totaled $206,090.
As the graphic below shows, this disease has become even deadlier. Our donations are critical to advancing Alzheimer’s awareness, care, and research.
