St. Louis - Dot Foods, the nation's largest redistributor, is proud to announce the promotion of Brian Middendorf to director of sales support in the company's Sales Department, based in Chesterfield. Dick Tracy, executive vice president of foodservice at Dot, made the announcement.

"Brian has been a great asset for our team," said Tracy. "He's had a lot of success in every step of his career at Dot, and I'm sure he'll succeed in his new role."

Middendorf started with Dot in outside sales in1998 and has since led efforts in a variety of areas, such as the Dot Expressway, eMarketing, business analysis, sales budgeting and forecasting, and the Dot Ecommerce Team. Along with his existing responsibilities, customer service and customer development will now report to Middendorf.
