"Outside of things like great pay, benefits and job security, we also offer a shuttle service that is now running on weekends and the schedules we're hiring for. This helps reduce some of the costs for commuters."
Dot recently unveiled transportation options for some shifts in the Jacksonville and Quincy regions. For a payroll-deducted $5 per-trip, employees can cut back on commute costs by taking advantage of transportation to-and-from Dot provided by West Central Illinois Mass Transit District.
More than 66 percent of all Dot managers are promoted from within the company. Founded in 1960 in Mt. Sterling, Dot Foods has never had a work-related layoff in the company's history. High school and college students are encouraged to attend the fair to investigate part-time and full-time employment options for the summer and beyond.
