STERLING, Ill - Dot Foods, the nation's first and largest food redistributor, has climbed to number 85 on Forbes' List of America's Largest Private Companies for 2013.  This is the 14th consecutive year Dot Foods has been on the list. The company's 2013 revenues of $5 billion determined its position, which is a seven-spot leap from its No. 92 ranking in 2012 and an impressive 75-spot climb from the company's #160 first ranking in 2006.  Dot Foods' local facility inArdmore,Oklahoma is one of the company's nine distribution centers nationwide.

The Forbes' list of America's Largest Private Companies is closely monitored and widely referenced because it serves as a roster of the nation's most-successful, fastest-growing private businesses.  The list only includes firms with revenue greater than $2 billion (revenues through the end of the most recent fiscal year), and only 224 firms made the list in 2013.
