Dot Foods is proud to release its 2018 Charitable Annual Report. The theme this year, "Kindness in Motion," represents the generosity of Dot's employees who help the company donate time, talents, and treasures in the footprint of its 11 distribution centers across the U.S. and St. Louis sales offices.
"Just like our customer expectations and demands, a community's opportunities and needs are ongoing and constantly changing," writes John Tracy, Dot Foods executive chairman and Dot Charitable Committee chair, in the report. "In 2018, we kept our commitment to continue to reinvest in our communities and keep that 'kindness in motion' prevalant."
The report shares charitable activities such as:
Donations to 65 food pantries via Dot's Neighbor-to-Neighbor program, totaling a value of $335,000.
The United Way companywide campaign that raised $461,970.
The company's fourth Alzheimer's Association campaign that raised $186,902 through payroll deduction, fundraisers, and Dot's 1:1 contribution.
The report also covers Dot's Teaming with Local Charities (TLC) group, the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF), and the Dot Charitable Committees at each of Dot's locations.
