Dot specializes in servicing distributors who buy in less-than-truckload (LTL) quantities. Dot buys truckload quantities from manufacturers, and then consolidates products from the 500 manufacturers in our warehouses for weekly delivery to distributors.

Brokers serve manufacturers by conveying features and benefits of products to distributors and operators (restaurants, schools, hospitals, etc). Dot does not perform this function in the market, focusing instead on redistribution. When distributors work with Dot, the broker/distributor relationship remains intact.

Dot Foods offer benefits to multi-unit accounts, to distributors who supply them and to manufacturers whose products are specified.

Dot's staff of 100 sales representatives is known throughout the industry for professionalism and knowledge. No one outside a manufacturer's own sales force can market products like Dot's sales team can.

In 1960, we made our first deliveries from the back of the Tracy family station wagon. Since those days, Dot has developed a transportation system of over 500 trucks that is unique.
