Dot Foods employees operating out of the Vidalia distribution center took a break from the road to kick off Dot’s annual Driver Appreciation Week with a company picnic. Driver Appreciation Week is celebrated at Dot distribution centers across the country.
“Our drivers spend endless hours on the road and travel millions of miles a year to provide incredible service for each of Dot’s customers,” said Tim Truxel, general manager of the Vidalia DC. “This week allows the rest of our employees and management to show our appreciation for the drivers’ commitment to our company.”
The company picnic was held at TNT Lanes on Saturday, September 10. Nearly 120 Dot Foods employees and their family members enjoyed an afternoon of food, bowling and prizes.
