Employees received free tree seedlings and participated in an electronics and metal recycling drive, which also was available to Mt. Sterling residents. Also throughout the week, Dot held “Lunch ‘n Learns” with tips on how to be “green,” trivia contests and a cell phone collection for “Cell Phones for Soldiers.” Each of Dot’s eight distribution centers across the country held an Earth Day event, ranging from neighborhood cleanups to green activities for children.
