MODESTO, Calif. – Dot Foods’ Modesto distribution center employees and their family members, along with neighboring businesses, celebrated Earth Day on Thursday, April 21, by teaming up to clean up their portion of Modesto. Participants collected trash and litter before enjoying a cookout.

Each of Dot Foods’ eight distribution centers across the country held its own Earth Day event, with activities ranging from neighborhood cleanups to cell phone and home electronics recycling. Company-wide, Dot held lunch ‘n learns during the week of April 25 on “green” topics, including recycling, home energy efficiency and raised bed gardening.
