A Marketing Manager at Dot Foods is responsible for building and enhancing strong relationships with our suppliers - some of the nation's leading food manufacturers. This includes managing all financial aspects of our program, and educating suppliers about Dot Foods.
- Build strong relationships with supplier partners
- Travel with Dot Sales Managers to gain better understanding of our distributor customers
- Budget volume, gross and net margin for each supplier and meet these budgets as goals
- Influence suppliers to view Dot Foods as a critical component of their distribution and marketing strategy
- Four-year college degree required; business, finance or marketing emphasis preferred.
- Minimum of two years' successful experience in a sales or marketing position, or a minimum of two years' successful experience with Dot Foods/ Dot Transportation, Inc.
- Superior computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong selling, negotiating, financial, analytical and business writing skills
- Overnight travel required (4-8 nights per month)
- Work either in St. Louis, MO, or Mt. Sterling, IL
