Dot Foods offers an annual Illinois College Scholarship Program. The purposes of
this program are:

To provide financial assistance to college-bound young adults.

To acquaint students with Dot's business culture through summer work
experiences/ internships.
-
To recognize and reward scholastic accomplishment, leadership and professional
promise.
Dot offers two- or four-year scholarships to accredited colleges and
universities, plus scholarships to technical schools.



To be eligible, high school seniors must graduate in Spring 2008 from a high
school within a 50-mile radius of Mt Sterling, IL. This includes the following
Illinois high schools:

Camp Point, IL (Central)

Griggsville/ Perry, IL

Jacksonville, IL

Liberty, IL

Each scholarship recipient's chosen college/university will receive $2,000 per
academic year to be applied toward the student's education, for a maximum of
four (4) consecutive years. Payments will be made directly to the financial aid
office of the college/university, and may be applied to tuition, room and/or
board, books or mandatory student fees.

Scholarships are awarded based on these criteria:

Academic performance
-
Minimum ACT score of 21 or minimum SAT score of 980
-
Demonstrated leadership
-
Financial need
-
Personal accomplishments
-
Compatibility of values with Dot corporate culture
-
Likelihood of long-term employment with Dot

Minimum 2.5 grade point average (on 4.0 scale) maintained for all college
course work.

Minimum 12 semester hours satisfactorily completed each semester (full-time
student requirement).
-
Remain a student in good standing as defined by the college/university.


Scholarship recipients are required to work at Dot Foods/Dot Transportation,
Inc. during three out of four summers in college.
Students are assigned to various business-related projects. Specific
assignments will be mutually agreed between the scholarship recipient and Dot
Foods management, subject to availability.
Scholarship recipients may also be eligible for internship opportunities during
their college years. Specific internship assignments will be agreed mutually
between the scholarship recipient and Dot Foods management, subject to
availability.
