Customer Delivery Specialist (Driver)

A Customer Delivery Specialist (CDS) at Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI) primarily delivers product to Dot Foods customers and picks up product at suppliers. As a Customer Delivery Specialist, you will be dispatched on multiple loads per week from your Dot Foods location. Product separation is required at most Dot Foods customers.

Team Driver

Team Drivers at Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI) primarily pick up and deliver product between Dot Foods distribution centers and suppliers. In general, team drivers are dispatched from four to seven days at a time. Some deliveries to customers will also be assigned.

Doubles Driver

A Doubles Driver at Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI) operates a tractor and two 48-foot trailers along approved highways. As a Doubles Driver, you primarily will deliver loads between Dot distribution center locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Accessing load paperwork, determine tractor, trailer and load to be handled, understand and follow directions to customer and supplier locations
• Ability to consistently meet established company production and service level standards
• Loading / unloading dry, frozen and refrigerated product as required
• Maintaining all driver logbooks and paperwork as required

Requirements include:

• High School diploma or general equivalency degree preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly for loading, unloading and restacking of product
• Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and clean Motor Vehicle Report required
• HAZMAT endorsement must be obtained before being released from company driver training program
• Medical examiner certificate from a company-approved examiner
• Compliance with the rules and regulations as established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation and the Motor Vehicle Codes as established by any state and local government in which the driver is operating / working
• Minimum of six months of over-the-road driving experience or graduate of approved truck driver training school required
